Welcome to 'Chez les Habitants', our guesthouse at the base of the big dunes of 'Erg Chebbi' in the dessert of Marocco. Our guesthouse is located in the friendly and quiet village 'Tiharien', just 4 km from Merzouga. Here, you can discover the real Berber culture, enjoy the beautiful sand dunes and the amazing 'wildlife' of the desert.
My name is Ahmed Amraoui and I welcome you at our family owned guesthouse. I was born in the desert and lived all my life in this area. I can help you with all you need to have a wonderful stay, to discover the environment and to teach you about our culture.
Tiharien is a small village, with around 60 houses and with around 200 inhabitants. The people are happy that you visit their village. There is a school, electricity and water. Nearby, in Merzouga, you will find facilities as shops, the police and telephone.
